2026 Lake City Group Rally, Feb. 12-16th

We’re back from our First Rally of the Year in Lake City, Florida — and what a weekend it was!
Just minutes away at the historic Olustee Battlefield Historic State Park, we stepped straight into the pages of history. Each year, the park hosts Florida’s largest Civil War reenactment — the legendary Battle of Olustee — and this year did not disappoint. The air filled with rolling gun smoke, cannons thundered across the field, and cavalry charged past cheering spectators. For a moment, it truly felt like 1864 had come alive again.
From the powerful battle demonstrations to the camaraderie of our rally group, the entire weekend was packed with energy, learning, and unforgettable memories. Lake City gave us the perfect blend of history, heritage, and hometown hospitality — an incredible way to kick off our rally season!

2026 Spring Rally News:

Join us for the Rally from April 7-11, 2026, at Grand Oaks RV Club, 3525 Griffin Ave., Weisdale, FL. Contact: (352) 750-5500.

Wagonmasters Jim and Ruthie Russo and Patti Koller have secured 12 spots for $65.00 per night. Note: no pop-ups or truck bed campers. For exceptions, contact Joyce @ Grand Oaks RV Resort. Rentals available for cabins.

Reservation deadline is two weeks before April 7. Check-in at 3 PM (early arrival possible if spots are empty), checkout by 11 AM (flexible with notice). A free horse jumping event is scheduled for April 11; check with Joyce for details.

Enjoy park amenities: pool, dining (The Bistro), catch and release fishing, concerts, and hiking trails. More activities will be detailed closer to the date. Grand Oaks is near The Villages’ restaurants, music, and shopping.
